Frank Hammerly and wife, of the Sand Hill neighborhood, in Poweshiek township, are in deep affliction over the loss of their nine-months-old son, who died yesterday after a short illness. The funeral is being conducted this afternoon from the Greencastle church by Rev. Lampman, and the interment will be in Greencastle cemetery.
