Jesse Sylvanus Blackford died last Tuesday at the residence of his brother-in-law, J. T. Leach, one mile west of town. Deceased was 31 years old and unmarried. For over a year he had been a constant sufferer from liver disease and for seven weeks past had been bedfast. The funeral was on Thursday and the remains were interred at Rorabaugh graveyard.
