MONROE — Warren E. Burman, 84, of Monroe died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at his home.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church.

There will be no visitation. His body has been donated to the Deeded Body Program at the Des Moines University — Osteopathic Medical Center.

The family will greet friends at a luncheon following the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Monroe Emergency Unit.

The son of Earl W. and Martha (Sinderson) Burman, he was born Oct. 12, 1920, in Albert Lea, Minn. He was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and owned a printing company in Monroe.

Survivors include his wife, Jane of Monroe; his four children, Gary Burman, Maarie Gayther, Doug Burman and Kathleen Darrach; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
