Jennifer Harper, 38, passed away April 26, 2011 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 at the funeral home.

Jennifer Lea Harper, the daughter of Larry and the late Deborah (Audlehelm) Harper, was born August 21, 1972 in Boone, Iowa. She graduated from Newton Senior High School. Jennifer worked at Sourcecorp. She was active in sports, and loved to bowl and play hockey. Jennifer had a soft heart for animals.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother; an infant sister; her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather; and an uncle.

Those left to remember Jennifer are her father, Larry (Minnie) Harper of Osceola; grandmother, Betty Audlehelm of Ames; her aunt, Jane Hogan of Fort Dodge; uncle, Jeff Audlehelm; numerous cousins; and many, many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. ~ Des Moines (IA) Register 03 May 2011.
