September 4, 1931 - December 9, 2020Gordon E. Walraven, age 89 of Prairie City, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at MercyOne in Des Moines. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com
The son of Harold and Anna Walraven, Gordon was born on September 4, 1931 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy. He worked in the electronic industry with RCA, Sears and 3M. Hobbies and other special interests included music, tinkering with electronics / computers, and all things automotive.
Those left to honor his memory include a son Chris (Lorna) Walraven and two grandchildren Trent and Seth. Preceding Gordon in death were his parents. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Prairie City, Iowa 09 Dec 2020.
