Mrs. G. Long, Collins, Died
Zearing – Mrs. Gabrilla LaRue Long, 84, died Sunday morning at her home in Collins. She had been an invalid for the past one and one-half years.
Born in Indiana, she had lived in Collins for the past 27 years.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Eldon of Napa, Calif., and Roland, Raymond and Lorraine, all of Collins and a brother, Harden Buigh of Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, who died in 1934; a son and a daughter.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Ashton Church southeast of Collins. The Rev. Alexander of Collins will officiate. Burial is to be in Kintz Cemetery.
The body will be at the Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, until 11 a.m. Wednesday.

(Note: her brother’s obituary has his name as Guy Thornton Hardenburgh and his obituary lists Gay as one of his sisters that survive him.
