Bernard Blake Zerley, age 66 of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home. The family will be having Graveside Services at a later time. Memorials may be directed to The First Baptist Church and condolences may be left at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of Bernard Rae and Lavon (Pearson) Zerley, Blake was born on June 1, 1954 in Des Moines. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1972. Blake loved working with horses and worked for several Horse Trainers through the years. Blake moved back to Iowa in 2005 and worked at The Vermeer Corporation in Pella until his retirement. He was a member of The First Baptist Church in Monroe.

Blake is survived by his Daughter, Caitlin Zerley, Son, Dale Hendricksen Walker, Brother Barry (Christy) Zerley, 2 Grandchildren, 3 nieces and nephews, and several cousins. Blake was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Brent Zerley, and his Grandparents. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Monroe, Iowa 19 July 2020.
