Donald Beals, 92, of Colfax, died of heart failure, Wednesday, June 9, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 11 at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial was at McKeever Cemetery.
The son of Richard and Clair Beals, he was born on June 21, 1906, in Baxter. Mr. Beals was employed in farming, had worked at Maytag Company, done various types of construction and had been employed by Norm’s Skelly Service Station in Colfax, prior to his retirement.
Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Don Gullion; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Lynda Beals, all of Colfax; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents and twelve brothers and sisters.
