Jerome L. “Jerry” Forck, age 59 of Colfax, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at his home. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, on July 18, 1944, Jerome was the son of Leonard Bernard and Venetta Edna (Schroer) Forck. He graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia, Missouri, in 1962. On August 7, 1965, he was united in marriage to Wilma Schaffrin in Jefferson City, Missouri. Jerry moved to Colfax with his family in 1975. He worked as a journeyman tree trimmer and foreman, working at Wright’s Tree Service, Asplundh, and most recently Davey’s Tree Service.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Wilma of Colfax; a daughter, Michelle Wolfe of Newton; four sons, Timothy Forck of Colfax, Paul Forck and his wife Tina of Colfax, Patrick Forck and his wife Paula of Colfax, and Matthew Forck and his wife Chris of Newton; ten grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Cassmeyer and Carol Hake, both of Jefferson City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be given to the Jerry Forck Memorial Fund.
