Funeral services for Keith Allen Simpson, 16, of 410 West Main St., Mingo, were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
He died of respiratory failure Sunday, March 29, at Des Moines General Hospital.
A freshman at Colfax-Mingo High School, he was born in Des Moines, the son of Charles and Melissa Simpson. He lived most of his life in Mingo and worked at Williams Auto Service in Colfax.
Survivors are his parents, two brothers, Kelly Simpson of Altoona and Kenneth Simpson of Mingo; a sister, Denise Simpson of Des Moines; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Dolores Simpson of Des Moines.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Kevin John Simpson, and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Philena Cooper.
