Hollis E. Perry, 67, of Des Moines died Monday, April 26, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center of heart failure. Date of services are pending.
Mr. Perry was born in Knoxville, Iowa
He lived in Colfax for 10 years before moving to Des Moines in 1984. He had also lived in Knoxville for 19 years.
Hollis retired in 1989 from City of Des Moines in the Public Works Department. He was also a Paratrooper for the U.S. Army Korea. Mr. Perry belonged to V.F.W. Baldwin-Patterson Post.
Survivors include his wife, Marvyl L. (Priske) Perry; daughter, Brenda Henning of Des Moines and one grandson, Christopher Henning.
