Claudia Rushing Stodden, 52, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died of cancer Wednesday, April 28 at her home. The body was cremated and memorial services were Sunday, May 2, at Evangelist Temple in Tulsa, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Stodden was born in Carbondale, Illinois, and had lived in Des Moines many years until moving to Tulsa six years ago. She was employed in the commissions department with Employee Bankers Life Insurance.
She is survived by her husband, Woody, a former Colfax resident; a daughter, Anna Stodden; two sons, Woody Jr. and Amos, both of Tulsa; her parents, James and Pauline Rushing of Des Moines; three brothers, James Rushing of Lucas, Danny Rushing and David Rushing, both of Des Moines; and four sisters, Mary Peterson of Clive, Jeane Liska of Delafield, Wisconsin, Cassandra Rushing of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and Louisa Martley of Davenport.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
