Selena Lucille Kintz, 73, of Colfax, died Monday, October 4 at Des Moines General Hospital. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 7, at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax with Pastor Dan DuRocher officiating.
Selena was the daughter of Cecil and Blanche Brown Bittner, born on October 23, 1925 in Collins, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence Kintz on February 26, 1969. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Colfax.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Rasmusson, Bill Thompson, both of Des Moines, and Larry Rasmusson of Colfax; two daughters, Susan Warren and Debbie Rasmusson, both of Colfax; three brothers; four sisters, sixteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Lawrence Kintz.
