COLFAX -- Amber L. Holtz, 88, died Wednesday, March 3, at Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Fla.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Runnells Chapter of Eastern Star No. 518.

The daughter of Hermann and Leona (Wray) Lennartz, she was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Colfax. She graduated from Libertyville High School in Illinois and was a member of the Runnells Chapter of Eastern Star No. 518, where she was a past worthy matron.

She is survived by her husband George A. Duerling, Sr. of Eustis, Fla.; a daughter, Mary E. Richardson of Bartlett, Ill.; a son, Charles H. Lever III of Fox Lake, Ill.; a sister, Mary Ellen Barbett of Hillsboro, Ill.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
