Wall Services Tuesday At M. E. Church

Funeral services for Roy Wall, 64, who died here early Sunday, will be held at the Methodist church at 2:00 p. m., Tuesday. Rev. E. A. Briggs will be in charge of the services.

A lifetime resident of Jasper county, Mr. Wall was taken to Skiff hospital following a stroke Saturday night. He had been in poor health since last summer. He ws formerly employed at the Winpower company.

Mr. Wall was born Sept. 27, 1882, at Sugar Grove, the son of Shelby and Minnie Wall. He married Dorothy Farmer in 1919. Surviving are three children, Francis of Tama, Richard and Mrs. Wallace Dieleman of Newton; a brother, Cleo, Colfax, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Emery, Des Moines. Mrs. Wall died in 1937. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge.

John Davis of Colfax, accompanied by Mrs. Paul Murdy at the organ, will offer musical tribute. ~ Newton Daily News March 17, 1947.
