Veber: Earl Nelson Veber, 78, a former car salesman for Rudolph Chevrolet, died July 13 in a Valley hospital. Services for the Phoenix man will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the church at Parkway Fountains, 1702 E. Highland, Suite 300.

Veber, who moved to Arizona 39 years ago from his native Kellogg, Iowa, owned a used-car dealership before working for Rudolph Chevrolet. He was a World War Army Veteran. He is survived by a sister, Ila Purdy.

Earl Veber

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Earl Veber, a former Kellogg area resident, died early Monday, July 13, of an apparent heart attack.

Memorials to the Kellogg Historical Society may be made in his name.

He is survived by a sister, Lilla of Cedar Rapids and a number of nieces and nephews, including Marvin Morris of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Doris Morris, in July, 1986.

Mr. Veber, an Army Veteran of World War II, had resided in Phoenix since 1947 ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 13, 1987
