Van Billiard, Catherine (Savage)

Services for Mrs Catherine A. Van Billiard, 89 of 1417 Tiffin Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church with burial in McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.

Mrs Van Billiard died Wednesday of arteriosclerosis at her home, after a year's illness.

She was a native of Connellsville, PA, and lived in Colfax before coming to Des Moines 32 years ago. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church.

Surviving are a son, Thomas, of North Hollywood, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Schroeder of Des Moines and Mrs. Pauline Jennings, Santa Ana, Calif.,; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Brown of Colfax, Mrs. Anna Quinn of Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Sara Fitch and Mrs. Nora Rawson, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Matthew Savage of Grimes and James Savage of Des Moines, 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Caldwell-Brein-Robbins Funeral Home.
