Newton Woman Dies Today
Mrs. Neal (Elizabeth) Kleinendorst, 81, 1907 1st Ave. E., resident of Newton since 1945, died this morning at Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Toland Wallace Funeral Home is handling arrangements which have not been completed.

Mrs. Kleinendorst Services Set
Services for Mrs. Neal (Elizabeth) Kleinendorst, 81, 1907 1st Ave. E., will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Harold Harryman, associate pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Newton Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home where friends may call after 10 a.m. today.
Surviving are two sons, Lester (Bud) Kleinendorst and Bernard (Bob) Kleinendorst, both of Newton; eight daughters, Mrs. L. R. (Elsie) Weldon, Mrs. Albert (Josephine) Sparks, Mrs. DeVerne (Wilma) Creed, Mrs. Ben (Leona) Klouda, Mrs. Frank (Bernice) York, all of Newton, Mrs. Max (Jean) Calhoon of Naperville, Ill., Mrs. Gene (Lavonne) Talbot of Lee Summit, Mo., and Mrs. Marion (Beverly) Osborn of Cedar Falls; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are a brother, Bert Van Hamert of Pella and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Caroline) Rozendaal of Pella.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953; two sons, John in 1955 and Cornie in 1969, a daughter in infancy, and six brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Kleinendorst was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Case and Ella De Haar Van Hamert, she was born Nov. 29, 1888, at Fifield.
She was married Oct. 30, 1907 at Pella.
Mrs. Kleinendorst, a resident of Newton since 1945, died Monday morning at Skiff Memorial Hospital.
