E. R. Killduff Dies Sunday; Rites Tuesday
Edwin R. Killduff, 47, 1249 E. 13th St., Des Moines, former longtime resident of Newton, died Sunday morning at Des Moines.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. W. W. Johnson, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Palo Alto Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
Surviving are an aunt, Mrs. J. I. Summers of Newton, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Mr. Killduff was a former employe of the Maytag Co.
The son of John and Grace Snook Killduff, he was born Dec. 17, 1922 in Louisiana.
Mr. Killduff spent a number of years in the Army during World War II.

Grandfather Donated Land
Killduff – Edwin R. Killduff, former Newton and Des Moines resident, who died Sunday in Des Moines, was the grandson of the late Timothy Killduff, who donated 40 acres of ground for the establishment of the town of Killduff in the 1870s. He was the son of John and Grace Snook Killduff.
