Floy Kennedy Rites Slated
Floy Kennedy, a lifelong resident of Prairie City, died Tuesday evening at Clear View Manor in Prairie City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Prairie City.
The Rev. Leonard Root will conduct the services, and burial will be at Waveland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Walters Funeral Home in Prairie City.
Miss Kennedy was born May 30, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcellous Kennedy, and was a member of the Prairie City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Cora Pender of Prairie City; Mrs. Lora Pender of Des Moines; and Mrs. Mabel Passmore of Carlyle.
