FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR AL NORMAN, 56

Alfred (Al) Norman

Funeral services for Alfred (Al) Norman, 56, Grinnell, were held from the Smith Funeral Home this afternoon (Thursday) with Dr. G. S. Bruland, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.

Mr. Norman died suddenly Monday morning while at work at the Maytag Co. in Newton.

Vocal music at the services was furnished by Mrs. Noel Taylor, accompanied by Mrs. Willard Heffner at the organ. Pallbearers were Paul Worcester, Loring Rohr, Leonard W. Chase, Lavern Reedy, Clark Wilson, and Raymond Olson.

Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by Grinnell Lodge No. 1266, B.P.O. Elks.
