The sad news reached Newton Saturday of the death of Jennie Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Morgan of Rock Creek Township, which occurred last night. Miss Morgan’s age was about twenty years, and her whole life has been spent in the home from which her spirit took its flight. The cause of her death was rheumatism of the heart from which she had been suffering for some time. She was a lovely girl and her death has caused the profoundest sorrow not only in her own home but throughout the community in which her life has been spent.

The funeral services were held at the home of her parents Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
