Died, at his home in New Sharon, Iowa, Oct. 18, Jesse Meredith, age 74 years, 5 months and 10 days. The decedent was born in North Carolina. He has been a model Christian and citizen and a kind father. He leaves his wife and twelve children to mourn his loss. The funeral took place at New Sharon, Iowa, Sunday, Oct. 22. There were over five hundred people in attendance.
