Marshall, Ada

Ada, twelve-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Marshall, near Monroe, died on Sunday the 11th inst. (of this month).

The little girl was a victim of appendicitis, and all efforts to save her precious young life were futile. Dr. Snouse of Des Moines and Dr. Robinson of Monroe finally performed an operation, which as a last resort gave a ray of hope, but she only lived a day or two afterward. She was a promising child dearly loved by a large circle of friends and almost idolized in her own home.

The funeral services were held in the M. E. Church of Monroe on Monday, Feb. 12th.
