McKee, Major Robert

Major Robert McKee, who died in Des Moines on Tuesday last, was brought to Monroe on the train Thursday last and after a memorial service in the grand army hall, was laid to rest in our lovely cemetery to await the resurrection morning. Our old veterans are one by one stepping out of the earthly ranks to take their place among the great majority mustered on the other shore.
