OBITUARY (Contributed)
KEITH LEON LUBER

Keith Leon Luber, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Luber was born eight miles west of Grinnell in Rock Creek township, Jasper county, March 5th, 1934, and entered into rest July 10th, 1964.

Keith attended the rural schools and graduated from Grinnell high school in the class of 1952. He was active in sports and was a member of the Honor "G" club.

He entered the armed forces in March of 1954, serving as a corporal in Field Radio Repairman with the 804th F.A. Bn in Germany. Keith was an expert rifleman.

After his discharge from the armed forces he attended college at Ames.

Keith then made his home in Ohio, employed by Miller Brothers Construction Co., as an operator of heavy road equipment.

In 1958 he was united in marriage with Nell Justice of Columbus, Ohio. To this union were born three children, Mary Lou, Gregory Keith, and Jerrary Leon. The past year Keith had been employed in construction in Iowa. He leaves to mourn his untimely passing, his children; his parents; his grandmother; one brother, Duane; eight sisters, Mrs. Max (Lois) Crawford, Grinnell, Mrs. Merle (Doris) Winchell, Malcom, Mrs. Richard (Bernice) Fritz, Newton, Mrs. Donald (Jackie) Gregson, California, Mrs. Larry (Donna) German, Grinnell, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Mitchell, Grinnell, Mrs. Lewis (Joan) Houck, Claifornia, and Carol Lea of the family home.

There are also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a brother who died in infancy. Keith was laid to rest in the Rock Creek cemetery in the family plot.
