Leeper, Grace (Donaldson)

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace S. Leeper, 86, long-time resident of Jasper county, will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm in the Johnson funeral home. The Rev. W. W. Johnson of the United Presbyterian church will officiate.

Mrs. Leeper, the daughter of David and Mary Donaldson, was born in Scotland Dec. 31, 1873. She came to the United States in 1884 and directly to Jasper county.

She was educated in the Jasper county schools and has lived in and around Newton until her death Sunday afternoon in Johnson Manor.

Mrs. Leeper is survived by one brother, David Donaldson of Collins and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband and a daughter, Ellen, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian church.

Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery.
