STATE NEWS

Out telegraphic dispatches announced the suicide of a man at Kellogg. It turns out that his name is Jacob Guire, for sixteen years a citizen of the place. His feet were found touching the floor, and he could only have hanged himself by lifting his feet and so hanging his whole weight upon the rope about his throat until he was strangled.
