August 1, 1952 ~ December 19, 2019 (age 67)

Lola Lavonne (Logue) Lamb, 67, of Newton died on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends immediately after the service with a coffee time at the funeral home. Memorials to the Newton Booster Club or the Newton Community Education Foundation may be left at the funeral home.

Lola, the daughter of William Calvin and Ruth Ellen (Keith) Logue, was born on August 1, 1952 in Oskaloosa. She grew up in Newton before living in Chariton from 1974-1987. She then returned to Newton. On September 7, 1996, Lola was united in marriage with Lonnie Lamb at Ashton Wildwood Park. She had worked as a Food Service Manager for Boss Concessions. She enjoyed watching birds and animals. Lola and Lonnie enjoyed going on motorcycle rides. Most of all, she loved being with her family and supporting her children and grandchildren at their activities.

Lola is survived by her husband, Lonnie Lamb of Newton; children, Dennis (Liz) Hall, Denise Hall, Wendi (Jason) Cupples, and Krista Clark, all of Newton; her grandchildren, Trea Harlan, Zachariah Laffoon, Tucker Cupples, Zoe Hall, Wyatt Hall, Brooklyn Cupples, Boston Cupples, Melody Hall, and Calvin Hall, all of Newton; her siblings, Bennie Logue of Shepherd, Texas, Rick Crook of Newton, Susie (Jerry) Wallace of Colo, Ed (Marla) Logue of Newton, Della (Patrick) Payton of Newton, and Terry (Becky) Logue of Newton; sister-in-law, Lori Logue of Chariton; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Cassey. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Doug Logue and Kenny Logue; and sister-in-law, Glenda Crook. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 19 Dec 2019.
