Keith Pierce Warrick, age 81 of Colfax, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will follow at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation for Keith will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of Roy William and Gertrude Blanche (Pierce) Warrick, Keith was born on April 8, 1938 in rural Colfax. Keith graduated from Mingo High School in 1956. On June 7, 1959, Keith was united in marriage to Mona Stevens in Colfax. Keith worked in sales for over 50 years. He worked for many years at Eureka, retired and went to work at Farver Hardware. It was here that he realized that he needed to be out on the road and went to work for Oreck, retiring for good in 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colfax, a charter member of the Colfax Kiwanis, served as Lt. Governor for Kiwanis and the Gideon's. Keith also served on the Colfax City Council and served as Mayor of Colfax.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife of over 60 years, Mona; two children, Brian (Carolyn) Warrick and Annette (Mike) McGill; 10 grandchildren, Krista (Brady) Lewis, Blake Warrick, Brock Warrick, Kira Warrick, Micah McGill, Josiah McGill, Autumn McGill, Tanner (Stacey) Kinsella, Tori (Levi Lear) Kinsella and Trevor (Brooke) Kinsella; four great grandchildren, Kasey, Kaden, Raygen and Anastasia; a brother-in-law, Joe Conley; sister-in-law, Louaine (Gene) Vande Lune and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Keith in death were his parents, a daughter, Mila; two sisters, Vonda Lee Williams and Joy Conley; a sister-in-law, Rhonda McClannahan and two brothers-in-law, Walter Williams and Harlan McClannahan. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 10 Dec 2019.
