Funeral Services Held Saturday From Bumgardner Funeral Home In Colfax.

Mrs. Henry Harrington, 79, lifetime resident of Colfax, died Thursday morning in Des Moines, following an extended illness.

Laura Bell Guthrie, born April 9, 1867, died October 31, 1946 at the Sones Nursing Home in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born and raised in and around Colfax. In 1884 she was united in marriage to Albert James and to this union six children were born.

She is survived by Mrs. Della Elliott of Des Moines, Mrs. Minnie Wintersteen of Colfax and Roy and Jess James of Newton; also nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Bert James.

In 1905 she was united m marriage to Henry Harrington, who preceded her in death in 1934.

Funeral services were conducted from the Bumgardner Funeral Home in Colfax Saturday afternoon with the Rev. W. R. Leeds, officiating.

Music was furnished by Mrs. George Rinker.

Pall bearers were Morris James, William James, Martin Mindham, James Mindham, Thomas Mindham and Clifford Mindham.

Burial was in the Colfax cemetery.
