Hammer, Edwin

Edwin Hammer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hammer, who formerly resided near the Hammer Grove in this county for many years, died in Des Moines last Friday and the remains were brought to Amboy and buried in the Center grave yard near the Friends Church last Sunday. Deceased was thirty years of age and was born in this county. Five years ago, as a result of a fall his spine was injured, from which he never recovered.
