FRENCH- Dr. E. M. French aged 43 years, died at his late residence in this city on Monday evening May 8th.

Dr. French had been a resident of Newton for the past 11 years, and has been a practicing dentist here, for most of that time. He was a graduated Homephatic physician also. He was skilled in his profession and had he not been addicted to strong drink, might have lived and been a useful man for many years to come.

The monstor alcohol had siezed his appetite and soon accomplished its work. This demon had long since broken up the happy family of Dr. French, his wife having left him, taking with her, two daughters, some seven years ago. His little son, a boy 12 years old had been kept by the father until death.

The R.E.A.C.A's., administered to the suffering man's wants, and everything that his numerous friends could do to comfort him in his last days on earth, was done.
