Elmer J. Fitzgerald Dies Here Wednesday
Fitzgarrald, Elmer

Elmer J. Fitzgarrald, 64 years old, died Wednesday afternoon at his home at 815 Sixth street. Death was attributed to the after effects of an attack of influenza he suffered about two months ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the home and will be conducted by the Rev. L. Myron Boozer, executive of the Iowa synod of the Presbyterian Church, and former pastor of the Collegiate Presbyterian Church. The body will be taken to Metz, Iowa for burial.

Mr. Fitzgarrald, a retired farmer, moved to Ames about five years ago from Metz. He is survived by his wife, who is a sister of G. A. Campbell, chief engineer of buildings and grounds at Iowa State college.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Meade and Edna, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bond and Mamie, Mrs. Jennie Dales, Mrs. John Slalskoske Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Veach attended the funeral of the late Elmer Fitzgarrald of Ames, but was a former resident of the Sugar Grove neighborhood.
