Everett Fenner

Funeral services for Everett Fenner were held on Saturday Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Friends Church in Lynville. He was born March 17, 1906 near Killduff and passed away on Oct. 9, 1969 in Newton, Ia.

He was a farmer in this area for several years. Surviving are his wife, Vada; two sons - - - Charles and Clair, both of Grinnell; nine grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. D. E. (Lulu) Munger of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary (Reed) Fenner, one brother, Clarence and one sister, Edith Fenner.

Reverend Willard Reynolds, former pastor in Lynnville, officiated with Reverend Delano Cunningham assisting.

Pallbearers were C. G. Harthorn, Given Johnson, Andrew Dunnick, Floyd Sparks, Lloyd Sparks and David Gertsma. Flower attendants were Mrs. John Rupp, Mrs. Bessie Sparks and Mrs. Henry Jansen. The music was furnished by Mrs. Carl Vernon Jay, organist and Ross Ratcliff, soloist. Musical selections were "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond The Sunset".

Hardin Funeral Home of New Sharon was in charge. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville.
