Mrs. Emmack Died Today At Home of Her Son

Mrs. Rebecca Emmack died today at 11 o'clock at the home of her son, John Emmack, 8 1-2 miles northwest of town, after an illness of several months. She was seventy-eight years old and had been a highly respected resident of Jasper county for twenty-seven years. Her native state was Ohio.

Mrs. Emmack leaves three children greatly grieved by her death. They are John Emmack, Harold Emmack and Mrs. J. C. Haifleigh.

The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the John Emmack home and the body will be taken to Metz for burial. ~ The Newton Daily News, February 7, 1912
