Obituary Lawrence Biglow Hutson
Lawrence Biglow Hutson was born in McComb, Ohio, January 22, 1832, and departed this life at Newton, Iowa, March 14, 1923 at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 20 days. He came to Iowa from Ohio in June 1855. On March 29, 1860 he was united in marriage to Nancy Southern. To this union was born six children; David of French, New Mexico, Frank of Butte, Montana, Alanzo of Mingo, Ia, the others having preceded him to the great beyond.
He united with the M. E. church of Mingo many years ago and continued a faithful member until his death. Besides his sons, he leaves to mourn his death, one brother, one sister, nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and a host of relatives.
Mr. Hutson has been a patient sufferer for some time. While he has suffered from pain it has always been his utmost desire to not be a burden on others.
Funeral services were held in the Mingo M.E. church Friday, March 16 at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. W. L. Allen. Interment was made at the Sams cemetery.
