Death of Former Valeria Resident
Otis (Bum) Bailey died June 21st of a heart ailment. He was well known in the Valeria vicinity, having spent most of his life there. His body was sent to a funeral home in Newton Wednesday of this week with graveside rites scheduled for this (Thursday) morning at ten o’clock at Sams cemetery near Mingo.

(Intended for last week) Friends here received word of the death of a former resident, Mr. Otis (Bum) Bailey in Denver, Colo. Where he had made his home for the past ten years. Services were held in Denver on Monday with graveside rites and burial at Sam’s Cemetery north of here on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.
