Frank Bailey Dies Wednesday
Aged Farmer Lived 79 Years On Farm Where He Was Born
(Special to The Daily News) - Mr. Bailey was born Feb. 21, 1859 near the town of Oldfield, which lost its identity when the post office was discontinues. He lived all his life on the home farm and was active in work of the Farrar Methodist Protestant church.
Funeral arrangements will not be completed until relatives from other states arrive at the home. Burial will be made in the family lot in Sams cemetery south of Mingo.
Mr. Bailey was the only member of his father’s family to reach manhood. His wife, the former Eliza Lowe, three sons, two daughters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.
His sons are Harry Bailey of Eagle Butte, S.D., Charles Bailey of Brooten, Minn., and Joe Bailey of Maxwell, Ia. Daughters are Mrs. Everett Gardner of near Farrar and Mrs. Bert Clement of Rhodes.
