Dowd, Malcom P.

Malcom P. Dowd, a former resident of Jasper County, died at his home in San Francisco, California, Wednesday, August 14, 1895.

Mr. Dowd was well known in this county, having held the office of county clerk. He left Jasper County several years ago and has since made his home in the west. Mr. Dowd had an honorable army record, and was a comrade of the 7th Iowa Cavalry. He was a sergeant in Co. G.
