Ira CUMMINGS

DIED at his home in Mingo Sat. April 25, 1892. Funeral services were held at the Mingo church on Monday and the body interred at McKeever cemetery. The cause of his death was heart trouble. He was apparently in good health until within a few hours of his death.

The news of his death will bring sorrow to many homes in the neighborhood in which he has lived most of his life, as he was respected by all who knew him.

He was born in Ohio in 1853, moved with his parents to the Green Castle neighborhood in 1860. In 1879 he married Josie Dee, besides whom there are three children to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate husband and father.
