With heavy hearts, at the age of 91, we announce the death of Fern A Ostermiller (Elkhorn, Nebraska), born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents, Josie Atwood and Gael Atwood; her siblings, Bernice Slaven, Earl Atwood and Harry Atwood (Charles Axtell); her sons, Richard Axtell and Doug Axtell. She is survived by her husband George Ostermiller; her sister Shirley Osborne; her daughters-in-law, Nancy Axtell and Renee Schimel; her grandchildren, Peggy Garthright, Marshall, Haley, Josh, Pam Coughlin, Jacob, Payton, Christian Axtell, Dan Axtell, Abby Farrens, Daden, Aubrey and Ashlyn; her step-children, Laura (Jack), Beth MacArthur, Mark Ostermiller (Dawn), Ann Parmenter, Rachel, Ryan, Christopher, Tim Ostermiller, Erica, Rebecca, Nicholas and Jessica.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17th 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (404 S 108th Ave, Omaha, NE 68154, USA). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 17th 2019 at the Slagel Cemetery (Newton, IA 50208, USA). ~ The Braman Mortuary, Omaha, NE 10 July 2019.
