Barbara Eileen Hill, age 74 of Prairie City, passed away on Monday July 1, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prairie City Christian Church. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Barbra Hill Memorial Fund and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Max and Edith (Peery) Williams, Barb was born on July 23, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Prairie City High School in 1962 and attended Simpson College for two years receiving a bookkeeping certificate. Barb worked in the accounting department at A&E Dairy in Des Moines for 30 years. She was a member of the Prairie City Christian Church. She enjoyed going to the Iowa State Fair and flowers, however her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her grandsons.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Rebecca (Lance) Oelmann; two grandsons, Maxwell and William; a brother, Claire (Kathy) Williams and a brother-in-law, Dennis Brubaker.
