Mrs. Placentia Succumbs After Extended Illness
Mrs. Isabel Placentia, local Mexican woman, died Wednesday at the Oakdale Sanitarium near Iowa City, following a lingering illness of tuberculosis. She was about 33 years old.
The body was brought to Newton yesterday to the Morgan Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock by Rev. T. J. McCann of the local Sacred Heart church. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery southwest of Newton.
Mrs. Placentia was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Placentia, who died at Oakdale Feb. 3, 1932.

Placentia Rites Conducted Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Isabel Placentia were to be conducted this afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the Morgan Funeral home by Father T. J McCann of the Sacred Heart church. Burial was to be made in the Catholic cemetery, southwest of Newton.
