MARSHALLTOWN -- Vernon Nason, 77, of Marshalltown died Thursday, July 15, at his home.

Funeral services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Persel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials will be accepted in his name and may be given to the family to be donated to the heart center of Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; son and daughter-in-law, Cary and Chris Nason of Marshalltown; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Lindstrom of Newton; and three grandchildren. ~ Newton (IA) Daily News, Monday, July 19, 2004
