Former Newton Resident Dies
Mrs. W. F. Wade, 84, resident of Newton for over half a century, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel McFaden, in St. Paul, Minn.
The body will be brought to Newton, where burial will be made in the Newton Union cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be announced Saturday.
Mrs. Wade came here to live in 1878, and continued to make Newton her home until going to St. Paul less than two years ago to be with her daughter. She suffered a stroke two years ago and had been bedfast since last July.
Her husband, who died in 1921, was a member of the Newton police force for a number of years.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Mrs. McFaden of St. Paul, and four sons, Will Wade of Newton, Otis Wade of Casper, Wyo., Bert Wade of Chicago, Ill., and Rollo Wade of Oskaloosa.

To Hold Wade Funeral Rites In Newton Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. W. F. Wade, 84, former Newton resident who died Friday in St. Paul, Minn. will be conducted from the Morgan Funeral Home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. L. R. Bobbitt of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Newton Union Cmetery.

Hold Rites For Mrs. W. F. Wade
Services Are Conducted in Newton Sunday For Former Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. W. F. Wade, 84, former Newton resident who died Friday in St. Paul, Minn., were conducted from the Morgan Funeral Home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. L. R. Bobbitt, pastor of the First Baptist church.
Music was furnished by Vernon Bobbitt, who sang, “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. He was accompanied by Mary Louise Kennedy.
Interment was in the Newton Union cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers: Dr. Cleo Nichols, Ray Broadston, Otto Callison, Glenn Robbins, Walter Davis and Dick Kennedy.
Mrs. Wade, widow of a former Newton policeman, is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ethel McFaden of St. Paul, Minn., with whom she had been living for nearly two years, and three sons, will of Newton, Otis of Casper, Wyo., Bert of Chicago and Rollo of Oskaloosa.
