Joan Postma, 3, of Monroe Dies
Joan Postma, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Postma of north of Monroe, died Friday morning at the home.
Surviving relatives are her parents, a sister, Wilma, 15, and a brother, Floyd, 13. Mrs. Fred Woody of Newton is the maternal grandmother.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Episcopal Church in Monroe.

Deloris Joan Postma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Postma of near Monroe, was born Aug. 21, 1934, and died Jan. 8, at the age of two years, four months and eighteen days. She had been ill one week with pneumonia.
She was the first to be taken from the William Postma family record.
Surviving relatives are her parents; a sister, Wilma; a brother, Floyd; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Postma of Monroe and Mrs. Fred Woody of Newton.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Methodist Episcopal church in Monroe by the Rev. Moser. Interment was in Pleasant View cemetery.
Mrs. Mark Shaw and Mrs. Mae Wilson sang two duet numbers, accompanied by Mrs. Ralph Gloyd.
