SULLY – Relatives in the vicinity received word last week from Pasadena, Calif., telling of the death of Mrs. Harry Gove, formerly of Sully.
Sarah Sherman Gove was born January 27, 1856 and died at her home in Pasadena Feb. 14, at the age of 81 years and 18 days.
She was united in marriage with Harry Gove and to this union one daughter was born.
They resided in Sully till 1907 when they moved to Grinnell, Iowa. In 1917 they moved to California where they since made their home.
Mr. Gove preceded her in death in 1926.
She is survived by her daughter, Lilian, at home, one sister, Mrs. Nettie Gove, of Milwaukee, Wis., and four brothers, Fred Sherman, of Lakeland, Fla., Frank and Edd Sherman, of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Lou Sherman, of California.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 17.
