Our neighborhood was greatly shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. Jim Quick Friday. Rev. Coleman conducted her funeral services at Walnut Ridge Church Sunday. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn the loss of a loving and devoted mother who have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad bereavement. ~ The Newton Record,Newton, IA, Thursday, March 8, 1900
