Joel Wayne Conley, 49, formerly of Colfax, died July 18, 2018, at Kavannah House Hospice in Des Moines. A celebration of life service will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at the Colfax Senior Citizen’s Center.
Joel was born May 10, 1969, to Joe and Joy Conley and attended Colfax High School. Joel had cancer 11 times, as well as three strokes.
Those left to honor his memory are his son, Tyler (Brielle) Conley of Colfax; three grandchildren, Ashiln, Ava and Conor, all of Colfax; his father, Joe Conley of Ankeny; sister, Beth Blom of Colfax; brother, Josh Conley of Colfax; and fiancée, Peggy McMahon.
Joel was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Conley, in April.
